Your eyes are your most valued asset and your sight is something you can’t live without and so we have been working hard to ensure that we stay open and provide the level of service and products you may need in these testing times.
We have added some additional measures in line with the Government's COVID-19 Secure certification for your peace of mind.
As NHS primary care providers, we are open for all your eyecare needs - with PPE and further measures in place to ensure your safety. If you are struggling with your eye health or have a possible eye condition, please contact us for an appointment.
To comply with present protocol Spectacle and Contact Lens Collections, Spectacle Repairs and Adjustments will also be by appointment only.
The day before your appointment we will contact you to confirm and run through a pre-assessment questionnaire.
If you notice any changes in your health after making your appointment then please contact the practice.
Before you depart for your appointment we ask that where possible you have already visited the lavatory and have ensured you are well hydrated.
It is also important that you only bring necessary items with you.
To minimize risk please ensure you attend your appointment alone unless you require assistance or are a parent attending with your child.
It is imperative that you wear a mask to your appointment.
When you arrive we ask that that you knock on the door and wait to be invited in.
On arrival we will taking temperatures of all patients
On entry please use the hand sanitizer provided.
Please do not be alarmed, your Optometrist will be wearing extra PPE equipment as may some other members of staff.
All consulting rooms, spectacle frames, equipment will be cleaned and disinfected between patients.

Established over 30 years Crompton Opticians is an independently owned practice located in the centre of the North Cheshire village of Culcheth. We have free on-site parking.
